Project Engineer - Civil Engineer

Terna, national transmission grid (NTG) operator, is actively engaged in the process of ecological transition and—as director of the electricity system and enabler of the energy transition—has the task of developing a grid capable of managing the ever-increasing integration of renewables and enabling the progressive decarbonisation of the system while constantly balancing energy produced and consumed.

Terna, is seeking a Project Engineer for its Padua Systems Engineering Area

 

Main activities:

  • Preparation of project documentation, reports and technical specifications
  • Verification of documents issued by third parties (external professionals)
  • Preparation of documentation for tender procedures
  • Support to senior colleagues for complex works
  • Technical support during works
  • Technical and administrative support for supply/tender/service contracts
  • Site visits to check progress of works
  • Preparation of progress reports
  • Drafting of works progress and accounting documentation
  • Preparation of technical documentation for routine and special management of works and contracts
  • Relations with businesses, site management, and assistance to Procedure Manager.

 

Key requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering. Candidates with or without experience will be considered.
  • Good knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations (Italian Legislative Decree no. 81 of 9 April 2008, as amended).
  • Good knowledge of the following software: Autocad, Word, Excel, FEM software. The following qualities are also required:
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude to work
    Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills
  • Willingness to travel within Italy
  • Knowledge of BIM methodology is considered an advantage.
