Senior Environmental Project Leader

Terna, national transmission grid (NTG) operator, is actively engaged in the process of ecological transition and—as director of the electricity system and enabler of the energy transition—has the task of developing a grid capable of managing the ever-increasing integration of renewables and enabling the progressive decarbonisation of the system while constantly balancing energy produced and consumed.

Terna is looking for a Senior Environmental Project Leader to join its Environmental Studies team based in Padua.

Main activities:

  • Coordination of a set of projects for environmental aspects with shared aims and reasoning
  • Management of technical meetings with authorisation bodies
  • Coordination of specialists in environmental studies and/or specialists in territorial analyses
  • Manage and ensure compiling of necessary documentation required for various phases of work assigned (feasibility, participatory planning and authorisation) for all environmental components
  • Coordination of external suppliers for various components
  • Landscape and territorial analyses
  • Management of authorisation requirements

 

Necessary requirements:

  • Degree in environmental subject
  • Years of experience >10
  • Willingness to travel within Italy and overseas
