For the Palermo office, Terna is seeking candidates for the role of Permitting Specialist to be placed in the Efficient Territorial Planning function, within the Island Territorial Planning function.
Main Activities:
- Supervising the meetings with Local Administrations and Bodies concerning the authorization processes (PAS, SCIA, VA, VIA, PAUR, PUA, etc.) for connection works regarding generation, accumulation and consumption systems;
- Supporting other corporate structures in the relationship with Local Administrations and Bodies, concerning the technical aspects of the authorization processes for connection and micro-zonal capacity projects functional works.
Necessary requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or Engineering with an Environmental, Civil or Landscape specialization.
- At least 3 years’ professional experience.
- Thorough knowledge of environmental, urban and landscaping regulations at local, regional and national level.
- Excellent knowledge of specific GIS, QGIS, and CAD software.
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Being skilled in landscape bond and land registry analysis, and in drafting technical feasibility studies.
- Being skilled in the selection and validation of sites suitable for the development of FER systems.
- Excellent knowledge of English.
- Also required are problem-solving abilities, precision, discretion while treating confidential information, spirit of enterprise, and team work.
Other preferential requirements:
• Previous experience in the energy field;
Experience in similar roles, preferably within structured corporate contexts;
• Knowledge of other foreign languages (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese).
