Terna Energy Solutions, Business Development area, is seeking candidates for the role of Business Development Analyst at its Rome facility.
The candidate will support the Manager and other corporate functions in the strategic planning and development of the Group’s market business.
Main activities:
- Supporting the development and implementation of short- and long-term strategic plans, and help to define the goals, work priorities and investments necessary
- Working alongside the different corporate functions to ensure the alignment of the plans of each business unit with the Group’s overall strategy, by promoting an integrated and consistent vision of the activities
- Designing and monitoring business plans and pipelines, identifying potential clients and short- and long-term opportunities, with regard to specific sales target
- Defining and monitoring business KPIs, drafting analyses and reports to support the departments’ performances
- Flanking the Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Development structure in the economic-financial assessment of extraordinary transactions, by providing considerations to support the Management’s decisions.
Necessary requirements:
- Master’s degree in Management Engineering, Economics and similar disciplines
- At least 1 year of experience in the same/similar position (e.g. strategy, business analysis, consultancy, energy)
- Knowledge of the strategic planning and economic-financial assessment strategies
- Being able to define and monitor the KPIs
- Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent knowledge of the English language (B2/C1)

- Strong analytical and result-oriented direction
- Synthetic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Inclination to interfunctional cooperation and teamwork
- Being proactive, independent and capable of managing more than one project at the same time
- Being interested in the energy sector and in transition-related topics
