Terna, national transmission grid (NTG) operator, is actively engaged in the process of ecological transition and—as director of the electricity system and enabler of the energy transition—has the task of developing a grid capable of managing the ever-increasing integration of renewables and enabling the progressive decarbonisation of the system while constantly balancing energy produced and consumed.

Terna is seeking a Buyer to join the Corporate Supplies and Services team at its Rome office.

 

Main activities:

 

  • Preparation and management of tender procedures and the related supply and service contracts.
  • Support for the management of awarding processes, within the remit of the role, and for the correct use and monitoring of contracts.
  • Management of the obligations which the Issuing Unit has towards the ANAC and internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting the manager with internal reporting activities.

Key requirements:

 

  • University degree, preferably in economics or similar subjects, and at least 2 years’ professional experience in the field of procurement.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, good knowledge of SAP, and good knowledge of English

 

 

 

The following qualities are also required:

 

  • Past experience as a buyer of services;
  • knowledge of the public procurement code, special sectors;
  • Master’s degree or specialist courses in the area of procurement.
